The coolest ingredient for food and drinks in the US is cannabidiol (CBD), a compound of the cannabis plant. While controversies regarding the effects of CBD still exist, some say it has therapeutic properties. The FDA hasn't approved any CBD product except an epilepsy drug. But state laws vary.
