CISF officers and metro staff prevented a near fatal accident in Faridabad on Saturday. According to the police, a girl was attempting to jump from the Sector 28 metro station.

In the video, the girl is seen sitting on the sidewall ignoring the plea by security personnel requesting her to move to safety. A police constable, Sarfaraz, is seen crossing the boundary wall and approaching her.

With swift action the girl is pulled to safety.

She was eventually handed over to the police, where she confessed to wanting to take her life due to work related stress. She was counseled and released into her parent's custody.
