Cats sound alert, Mumbai Police rescue newborn from a drain

This is the most heart-warming news you will see today. A newborn baby was rescued from a drain by the Mumbai Police after it was spotted by some locals near Pantnagar.

The Mumbai Police tweeted that the baby, wrapped in a cloth, was found after some cats on the streets started creating ruckus and alerted the nearby residents.

Locals informed the police and a team was immediately rushed to the spot. The police informed that the baby was rushed to a nearby hospital and is now recovering.

The Mumbai Police posted a picture of cops with the child. There is still no information on parent or people who dumped the child in the drain.
