Popular Japanese cartoon character Shinchan Nohara's name made it to the BSc Honours merit list of West Bengal's Siliguri College.
A college official said that a police complaint has been lodged. The name was immediately removed with a fresh list added on the college website and described the incident as an 'act of mischief'.
Earlier Bollywood actor Sunny Leone and singer Neha Kakkar's name made it to the merit list of different colleges in West Bengal.
