BWF World Tour finals: Heartbreak for Sindhu, loses in the final to Korea's An Se-Young

PV Sindhu was forced to settle for silver as Korea's An Se-Young won the BWF World Tour Finals title. Sindhu lost the final on Sunday in straight games 21-16, 21-12.

The two-time Olympic medalist was not at her best against the Korean & tried to make a comeback in the first game but eventually lost 21-16.

The Korean shutter was brilliant at the net and baseline as Sindhu looked helpless in the match which lasted just 39 minutes. 

It was Sindhu's third final appearance in the season-ending tournament. In 2018, Sindhu won the World Tour finals for the first, becoming the only Indian to achieve that feat.
