Did Zomato and Swiggy forget to roll back their platform fee hike from Diwali?

Before Diwali, Zomato bumped up this fee from ₹7 to ₹10, calling it a ‘festival season platform fee.’ Swiggy quickly followed suit!

Its now been over two weeks since the festive season ended, but the ₹10 platform fee hike is still here
This fee applies no matter what—whether you use a coupon or even have a membership!"

This isn’t the first time they’ve done this.

Back in August, a ₹2 platform fee was introduced to boost margins and edge closer to profitability.
Here’s the kicker—every ₹1 hike earns Zomato ₹65 crore a year

Sure, it’s great for their profits, but... could it drive customers away?
