If you're planning to order food via Zomato for your Diwali party, then get ready to shell out a little more, because ordering out just got a little pricier! Zomato has raised its platform fee to ₹10.

Zomato says this increase is necessary to cover the cost of maintaining its services, especially during busy times like Diwali.

But this fee hike isn’t new. Just a few months ago, in August, they introduced a ₹2 fee to boost margins and push towards profitability.

Since then, Zomato has been regularly raising this fee. In fact, every ₹1 hike helps the company rake in a whopping ₹65 crore annually!

So, will this increase affect your orders this festive season, or are you willing to pay a little extra for your festive treats? Let us know in the comments below!
