Tesla recalled 475,000 cars in the US because of technical defects that may increase the risk of accidents. The number of vehicles recalled is nearly equivalent to its global deliveries in 2020.

As per the filing to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration the EV maker is recalling the cars due to camera and trunk issues. A concern with the cable harness which disrupts the image being displayed.
The recall comes as the Safety Administratiin is also investigating Tesla’s Autopilot system. The probe was launched by US regulators after a dozen collisions at crash scenes involving first-responder vehicles.
