For the second year in a row, Das has been crowned the world’s top central banker, securing an 'A+' rating from the Global Finance magazine.

Das stands alongside Denmark's Christian Kettel Thomsen and Switzerland's Thomas Jordan, all earning the coveted 'A+' rating.

Global Finance's Central Banker Report Cards evaluate leaders based on their success in managing inflation, driving economic growth, stabilizing currency, and navigating interest rate policies.

An 'A' grade signifies excellence, while an 'F' marks failure.

Celebrating the achievement, the RBI also highlighted Das's achievement.PM Modi also congratulated Das on receiving top rating in a global ranking of central bankers, lauding it as a recognition of his leadership.

The magazine noted that, as central bankers worldwide combat inflation with higher interest rates, the results are now visible, with significant drops in inflation rates across the globe.
