NSE 'Yogi' case news: CBI takes in custody Anand Subramaniam

In latest news in the NSE saga: Anand Subramaniam, former Group Operating Officer and advisor to former NSE MD Chitra Ramkrishna was arrested by CBI late Thursay night from Chennai in connection with the NSE-Yogi case, unnamed sources told news agency ANI.

CBI has already seized documents and materials  during the questioning of Anand Subramanian an alleged close associate of his former boss Chitra Subramaniam. Anand Subramaniam was brought into NSE by Chitra Ramakrishna without allegedly following the rules and procedures and given unprecedented hikes as well. 

Market regulator SEBI's report indicates that Anand Subramaniam was impersonating as the unknown ‘yogi’ and instructing Chitra over the emails regarding his salary and designation and also other critical matters relating to India's largest stock exchange, NSE.
