Microsoft offers IIM graduate a whopping ₹64.61 lakh salary

Avni Malhotra, student from Indian Institue of Management, Sambalpur has secured a job with an offer of Rs 64.61 lakh per annum at Microsoft. This is the highest ever salary package received during the placement season. 

As per a Times Now report, Avni Malhotra cleared five to six rounds of interviews to secure the Job. Hailing from Jaipur, Malhotra is a B.Tech graduate, with specialisation in computer science from Jaypee University Of Engineering And Technology. Her previous experience with Infosys for three years, stood as a big supportive factor for her hiring by Microsoft. 

IIM Sambalpur has completed its placement season with 100% placement record. The institute took to twitter and said that this year's placement season witnessed participation from 130+ companies, with an increase of 56% in first-time recruiters. The highest salary received is a staggering 146.7% increase from last year. The average salary has increased by 26% and the median by 29%.
