Hartek Group’s Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Rooftop Solar business unit has secured an 8 MW solar EPC contract from Kandhari Beverages, one of Hindustan Coca Cola’s largest bottling plants. This project will become the largest rooftop solar installation in Jammu & Kashmir, set to be commissioned this quarter. The installation will enhance the region's renewable energy capacity, producing one million units of energy annually and significantly reducing the facility’s energy costs.

Simarpreet Singh, Executive Director & CEO of Hartek Group, said, “This 8 MW system is setting a benchmark for sustainable industrial growth in Jammu & Kashmir. Our C&I rooftop solar unit will continue partnering with leading industries to help them achieve sustainability and net-zero goals.”

This contract marks the third collaboration between Hartek Group and Kandhari Beverages in the past two years, bringing their total installations to 14 MW. The repeat partnership highlights Hartek’s strong execution and customer satisfaction. The scope of the project includes a complete turnkey solution, from engineering and design to procurement, testing, commissioning, and one year of operations and maintenance (O&M).

Hartek Group remains at the forefront of the solar industry, spearheading projects that demonstrate the transformative potential of renewable energy. With a focus on sustainable growth, the company is committed to expanding its footprint in the clean energy market, contributing to India’s long-term environmental and economic progress.
