Go First extends flights suspension till June 12

Go First, which is undergoing insolvency proceedings, has once again extended its flight cancellations. 

In a statement the airline said, "Due to operational reasons, Go First flights until 12th June 2023 are cancelled."  

Meanwhile, the airline is hoping to restart operations with 26 planes and 152 daily flights, and has submitted its revival plan to aviation regulator DGCA.

Meanwhile, the airline is in discussions with lenders for funds to meet the working capital requirements.

Go First has been grounded since May 3 and is yet to pay some senior level executives and pilots. Quoting sources, a PTI report says that the carrier's salary outgo is around Rs 30 crore per month and currently, the workforce is around 4,700 as many have put in their papers in one month.
