Cost of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder reduced by ₹83.5

Commercial LPG, 19-kg cylinder prices have been reduced by ₹83.5 at state-run oil wholesalers, however, residential cooking gas cylinder prices remain the same. Every month on the first, the oil marketing companies modify the prices for both domestic and commercial LPG cylinders, thus the new rates are effective as of right now.

With this adjustment, the cost of a 19-kg LPG cylinder in Delhi will decrease to ₹1,773. The 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder will now cost ₹1,725 in Mumbai as of today. While prices in Chennai and Kolkata are ₹1,937 and ₹1,875 respectively. The prices of residential LPG were last modified by oil marketing companies (OMCs) in May.

A 14.2-kg cylinder of home cooking gas currently costs ₹1,003 in Delhi. The prices are ₹1,002.5, ₹1,029, and ₹1,018.5 in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai, respectively.

Depending on the local VAT, these LPG petrol prices change from one state to the next. Domestic and commercial LPG petrol cylinders are marketed separately in the nation.

Commercial cylinders are utilised by businesses like hotels, restaurants, and industries, whilst domestic cylinders are designed for home consumption.

In addition, starting on June 1, the cost of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and aircraft turbine fuel (ATF) has been reduced by a respective ₹83.50 and ₹6,632.25.
