French luxury fashion house Chanel is making headlines with its recently released pre-owned shopping bag that looks like a basket. The product is listed for sale at a staggering price of $104,663 (Rs 86.1 lakh) on Farfetch.
The pre-owned XXL shopping basket happens to be from the Autumn/Winter 2014 collection.
Despite the high cost, Chanel claims it is an environment-conscious product.
As the basket began trending, people were astonished about its cost. "Chanel has gone to hell in a poorly designed hand basket. Karl Lagerfeld about to start haunting Virginie," a person wrote.
