Budget session kicks off; Economic Survey to be tabled soon today

Budget session 2022 kicks off on Monday as the finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman is all set to present the Economic Survey in the parliament.

President Ram Nath Kovind will address both the houses today and post that the Economic Survey 2021-22 will be tabled.

Economic Survey is a document prepared by the union government on how the country has performed in the last financial year.

The last Economic Survey in 2021 projected the Indian economy to grow at 11% in the financial year 2022, although it was later revised to 9.3%.
