Budget 2022: Govt needs to focus on exports, capex and infra, says Chetan Ahya

Ahead of the budget, Morgan Stanley managing director Chetan Ahya stresses on the need for a long-term export strategy for manufactured goods.

Along with exports, Ahya believes that the government should continue to focus on capital expenditure and infrastructure.

Efforts on these fronts will give the much-needed fillip to the country’s per capita income growth.
