Bank holidays in July 2023: Banks to remain closed for 15 days in July

Both private and public banks will remain closed for 15 days in July. This, due to different festivals being celebrated in particular states. As per the RBI, 8 days are notified as holidays under negotiable instruments Act. This includes Muharram and Guru Hargobind Ji's birthday.

It is imperative to know the bank holidays for avoiding any kind of inconvenience. Here's the full list of bank holidays both national and regional for the month of July:

July 13, 2023: Bhanu Jayanti (Sikkim)

July 16, 2023: Sunday

July 17, 2023: U Tirot Sing Day (Meghalaya)

July 21, 2023: Drukpa Tshe-zi (Sikkim)

July 22, 2023: Fourth Saturday

July 23, 2023: Sunday

July 28, 2023: Ashoora ( Jammu and Srinagar)

July 29, 2023: Muharram (banks to remain closed in several cities across Tripura, Mizoram, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh)

July 30, 2023: Sunday

Even on non-working days, online banking services will be available.
