Shaadi.com founder and Shark Tank India judge Anupam Mittal has slammed the GST council for levying 28% tax on online games, casinos and horse racing. He took to Twitter and wrote that entrepreneurs should now build rockets rather than gaming companies. "It was good fun being part of the fantasy gaming industry - which stands murdered now. $10 Bn down the drain in this monsoon.  Time for startups Founders to enter politics and be represented - or this is going to be spate industry after industry," Grover said.

Grover had recently launched a fantasy gaming named Crickpe which allows users to create virtual team of cricketers based on their current forms.

The All India Gaming Federation also called the move "unconstitutional, irrational, and egregious".
