IPL 2021: Bumrah, VVS Laxman, Sehwag impressed with Kartik Tyagi's heroics

A 20-year-old UP-based cricketer, a youth who trained under Bumrah, Kartik Tyagi has finally made his presence felt at IPL 2021. The young Hapur lad made heads turn when he executed a yorker masterclass in the last over of Tuesday's IPL match between Rajasthan and Punjab.

Tyagi who helped save the Royals' face, scripted an amazing win in the last over. He displayed his heroics with the ball when KL Rahul's team needed just 4 runs off 6 balls. Kartik Tyagi took 2 wickets of Nicholas Pooran and Deepak Hooda, giving away just 2 runs to the opposite side. He became only the 2nd bowler in IPL history after Munaf Patel to defend 4 runs for his team in the final over.

Spell-bound by his spectacular performance, Bumrah, who helped him with tricks and techniques during practice sessions when India played Down Under, lauded him for maintaining his composure under pressure.

VirendraSehwag, VenkateshPrasad, VVSLaxman, Dale Steyn also took to social media to praise the young cricketer.
