Bulandshahr clash: Man 'who shot dead police officer' held

With the arrest of a taxi driver, the UP police claim to have achieved a breakthrough in the death of police officer, Subodh Kumar Singh, who was killed along with a Bulandshahr resident when violence gripped the town over alleged cow slaughter on December 3. Police say the accused driver Prashant Nat killed the policeman after he snatched his service weapon during the mayhem. Nat’s arrest comes even as three key accused, Bajrang Dal’s Yogesh Raj, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Shikhar Agarwal, and Upendra Raghav, a Vishwa Hindu Parishad activist, named in the case remain on the run.
