Brazil club Flamengo confirmed on Sunday that 6 of their players have tested positive for Covid-19 prior to Tuesday's Copa Libertadores clash against Ecuador's Barcelona for the fourth round of the competition's group stage. The defending champions did not identify the athletes that contracted the virus but wrote on Twitter that all 6 players are asymptomatic and isolated in their hotel rooms. According to local media, former Atletico de Madrid players Filipe Luis and Diego Ribas, Chile's International Mauricio Isla and striker Bruno Henrique are among the infected players. According to reports in the local media, the club is working to bring 6 players from their youth team to Ecuador, to replace the infected players.
