Brazil on Wednesday became one of the few countries to have announced equal wages for their men's and women's national football teams. Brazil's football federation in a statement said that they have not only equalled the prize money but also the allowances between men's and women's teams. It means that their female footballers will receive same wages as someone like Neymar. Australia, Norway and New Zealand are among few other nations who also follow this.
