Brazil beat Paraguay in penalties to reach Copa semis

Gabriel Jesus scored the winning penalty in a thrilling shoot-out, as Brazil beat Paraguay 4-3 in penalties to cruise into the semis of Copa America. The scorecard read 0-0 at the end of extra time, as the game went into penalty shootout. Twice before in 2011 and 2015 Paraguay had defeated Brazil at the same stage on penalties. This time, however, Brazil overcame their demons. They will now face the either arch rivals Argentina or Venezuela in the semis.
