Box shareable links expose sensitive data of big companies including Apple

According to Cyber-security firm Adversis, dozens of big companies including Apple have had terabytes of their data exposed online through shareable links via cloud-based content management platform Box. The exposed data included hundreds and thousands of documents, bank account numbers and financial data. The report showed that Box allows users to share files that can easily be hacked and hence need more reliable security protocols in place.
