Boost to small traders, Centre's new e-commerce policy soon

Centre has announced plans to introduce new e-commerce policy in few weeks to boost businesses of small traders. Centre said that the new policy will boost the e-commerce section, promote exports and ensure fair play in 41 billion-dollar industry which caters to roughly 100 million consumers. In addition to the new policy, the government had barred online retailers from selling products of companies in which they have a stake in and also disallowed exclusive tie-ups between e-commerce firms and vendors.
