'BOOM': Opposition hails SC order on Pegasus, hits out at the Centre

The Opposition has hailed SC order appointing an expert committee to probe Pegasus snooping allegations.

The Congress on Wednesday said the SC order has negated alleged attempts of the government to evade and divert attention in the name of national security.

"Pseudo-Nationalism is the last refuge of cowardly fascists everywhere," Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said on Twitter.

Trinamool Congress leader Derek O'Brien also hit out at the Centre after the SC order.

"So BJP, and not the Opposition, were solely responsible for the disruption of the entire Monsoon Session of Parliament," he tweeted.

The Opposition had stalled the Parliament proceedings throughout the Monsoon Session over the Pegasus issue demanding a probe into the allegations.
