Bonds rally after RBI announces to buy back bonds worth ₹40000cr

Bond markets cheered news that the RBI would buy back bonds worth 40,000 crores in November. The benchmark yield fell to an 11-week low of 7.82 per cent from Friday's close of 7.87 per cent. Meanwhile, the rupee also traded stronger on the news.
