Veteran actress and MP Jaya Bachchan received support from several Bollywood celebrities after she slammed those trying to 'tarnish the image of the entire industry'.
Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha commended her for her speech, and Taapsee Pannu lauded her words, saying she has 'hit the nail on its head'. Sonam Anand Ahuja also came out in Jaya's support and said that she wants to be like her, while Farhan Akhtar said Jaya Bachhan has always stood up to be counted when it mattered'.
The MP had condemned Kangana's comparison of the film industry to a gutter and Ravi Kishan's comment on Bollywood being affected by the drug menace.
