Prominent billionaire investor Mark Cuban has invested in Polygon, an Indian cryptocurrency platform with a market cap of over $13 billion.

The domestic blockchain platform aims to provide faster and cheaper transactions on Ethereum. Polygon's native token Matic is among the top 20 crypto coins globally as it has rallied more than 120 times.

Polygon's scaling solutions have seen widespread adoption, with over 250 dapps, 76 million transactions, and 790,000 unique users.

In one of the largest-ever individual philanthropy efforts, Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal has set up India's Covid-Crypto Relief Fund, which is gaining global attraction.
