A newly-constructed bridge over the Kankai river in Bihar's Kishanganj has collapsed even before its inauguration, news agency ANI has reported. Reports said that rising water level in the Kankai river led to the collapse of the bridge. Many areas in Kishanganj are reeling under devastating floods. The collapse of the new bridge has added to the woes of dozens on villages apart from washing crores of public money down the drain.
