Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla on Saturday said that India has received “best assurance” from the UK authorities on extradition of Vijay Mallya so that he can face charges of fraud and money laundering.

Shringla said that India has made the best case for fugitive businessman's extradition and UK authorities have assured them that they are working on it.

The Foreign Secretary made the statement in reply to a question on the delay in Mallya's extradition to India during his two-day visit to the UK.
