Bengal elections: Mamata Banerjee leads roadshow on wheelchair

As the battle for Bengal heats up with polls just round the corner, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee arrived at Gandhi Murti in Kolkata on a wheelchair to hold a roadshow to Hazra. The roadshow is her first public appearance after suffering injuries in her leg during a rally in Nandigram. She will address the gathering at the end of the rally, TMC said.

Meanwhile, the party has cancelled the release of its election manifesto for the 2021 assembly election which was scheduled for Sunday. The party had said the next date of the release will be announced later.
