Anonymous street artist Banksy's version of Monet's Water Lillies is all set to be auctioned at Sotheby's in London on the 21st of October.
The 2005 creation, called 'Show me the Monet' is expected to fetch anywhere between $3-5 million. In Banksy's reimagined piece, the classic water lillies picture is filled with images of abandoned shopping trolleys and a traffic cone.
'Show me the Monet' is from a series of works called Crude Oils, which in Banksy's words includes remixes of canonical artworks.
