Bangladesh captain Mashrafe secures landslide win in polls

Bangladesh's ODI captain Mashrafe Mortaza won the parliamentary elections from Narail-2 constituency with a massive 274,418 votes. Mortaza had contested from Sheikh Hasina's Awami League party, which won the Bangladesh elections with 288 out of 300 seats. Mortaza had earlier given indications of retiring from international cricket, after the 2019 World Cup.
