Bajaj Auto has launched the new Platina 110 ABS model in India priced at Rs. 65,930 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Bajaj Platina 110 ABS becomes the most affordable motorcycle to get anti-lock brakes in India, and the only offering in the segment as well. The motorcycle comes with single-channel ABS technology, and the system is paired with a 240 mm front disc brake. At present, ABS is mandatory on two-wheelers with an engine capacity larger than 125 cc. Meanwhile, small-capacity motorcycles need to get a Combi-Braking System as standard. ABS is a safety feature that prevents locking of the wheel under emergency braking. Compared to the Platina 110 H Gear, the new ABS version is only Rs. 1000 more expensive.
