Opposition Akali Dal has slammed Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh after he urged the protesting farmers to leave his state, and instead move to Delhi to build pressure on the Centre.

SAD MP Harsimrat Badal tweeted that this was the CM's plan all along. She accused Amarinder of relaxing in his plush palace while the farmers are dying while braving it out on the roads.

Asking people to observe a 'Black Day', the Akali Dal, which left the NDA alliance led by BJP over the contentious farm laws issue, has called for a protest march from Gurudwara Rakabganj to Parliament on September 17th, the date on which the three laws which have been dubbed as pro-corporate were passed.
