Bad vaccination figures can’t be hidden behind one man’s photo: Rahul Gandhi

As discovery of a new Covid-19 variant raises concerns, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has highlighted the need for better vaccination coverage. 

Tweeting data about India's vaccination, Gandhi tweeted that the new variant is a serious threat and it is high time that govt becomes serious about providing better vaccination security to the people.

Taking a dig at the Prime Minister he said that bad vaccination figures can't be hidden behind one man's photo for long.

According to the data posted by Rahul Gandhi, 31.19% of people are fully vaccinated in the country. The daily average vaccinations done last week were 6.8 million when the required number is 23.3 million per day.
