At least 28 Taliban members were killed in the multiple blasts outside the Kabul Airport on Thursday, a spokesman of the militant group told the Reuters on Friday.
Multiple bomb blasts and at least one attack by a gunman in Kabul on Thursday killed at least 72 Afghans and 13 US service personnel, and plunged the evacuation of western forces from Afghanistan into deeper crisis.

Health officials and a Taliban spokesperson said that at least 72 civilians were killed in the blast, including children, and many Taliban guards. Later in a statement, the Taliban condemned the attack saying it occurred in an area “controlled by US forces”.
Multiple intelligence reports say that terror group ISIS was carried out the attack.
