The Asus ROG Phone 5 takes everything its predecessors have done and turns it up to max. The phone this year isn't powered by a special chipset, instead, using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 found in other smartphones as well. There's 12GB of LPDDR5 memory, 256GB of UFS3.1 storage and a display that's the stuff of everyone's envy. The display on the ROG Phone 5 is an AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 300Hz, making it every esports player's wet dream. Our testing of the ROG Phone 5 revealed some very interesting pieces of information, some that we totally expected, and some unexpected surprises as well.
