Should you get an antibody test after taking the Covid-19 vaccine to see if the vaccine worked? Dr Navin Dang, Founder of Dang's Lab says, there is no need to get an antibody test after the jab because a higher level of antibodies doesn't mean you're more protected against the virus. He adds, testing is needed if you have come in contact with a high-risk patient or someone you know has tested positive. He recommends isolating for a minimum of 17 days before getting re-tested if you are Covid positive, because post that period you cannot transmit the infection to others
