Rain continued to hamper England's preparations for the Ashes series starting December 8 as continuous showers prevented any play for the second consecutive day at Ian Healy Oval, the venue of England's final warm-up match in Brisbane on Wednesday.
The bad weather is forecast to continue into next week's start of the Ashes series at the Gabba. England's spinner Jack Leach, however, found a creative way to be on top of the situation and resorted to bowling in his hotel room.
Despite rain affecting the conditions at the Gabba, Australian all-rounder Cameron Green feels that there's always a bit of spice in the Brisbane wicket. 'It's always really good cricket when there are wickets like that', added Green.
