Australian cricket team continued their winning streak in the Day/Night Tests at home as they defeated England by 275 runs in the second Ashes Test at the Adelaide Oval. This was Australia's record ninth D/N Test win in as many matches at home soil. The Kangaroos have now taken a 2-0 lead in the five-match Ashes series.
Chasing 486 runs to win the second Test, England resumed their innings from 82-4 on the final day and the hosts took just 15 balls to get the first wicket of the day. The visitors were looking to draw the test match but Aussies continued to take wickets at regular intervals.

However, Jos Buttler curbed his natural instinct and consumed more than 200 deliveries for 26 runs, taking the game in final session but couldn't evade the inevitable as he was dismissed hit-wicket as the hosts won by 275 runs.
Meanwhile, Australia have named an unchanged 15-man squad for the remaining three Ashes tests.
Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins, who were unavailable for the Adelaide test for different reasons will rejoin the squad on Thursday for Boxing Day Test.
