Actor and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan on Tuesday hit back at actor and BJP MP Ravi Kishan for targeting the film industry on the issue of drug use. Bachchan said that the film industry is being vilified on social media. Referring to Ravi Kishan, who on Monday raised the Bollywood drug issue in Lok Sabha, Jaya Bachchan said that she was ashamed that an MP who is also from film industry spoke ill of it.
"Just because of a few people, you cannot tarnish the whole industry. I was ashamed yesterday that one of the members in the Lok Sabha, who is from the industry itself, spoke ill of the industry. Jis thaali me khaate hain usi me chched karte hain," Jaya Bachchan said.
