According to the supplementary charge sheet filed by the Mumbai Police in the alleged TRP rating scam, Republic TV boss Arnab Goswami paid $12000 to fund two holidays of former BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta. In a hand written declaration by Das, which is part of police charge sheet, Arnab also paid him Rs 40 lakh to manipulate the Television Rating Points. The 3,600-page supplementary chargesheet, filed by Mumbai Police on January 11, also includes a BARC forensic audit report, WhatsApp chats purportedly between Dasgupta and Goswami, and statements of 59 persons, including former council employees and cable operators.
