One Army jawan and two policemen were injured in a fresh gunfight with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district on Sunday.
According to officials, Zia Mustafa, a jailed Pakistani terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was taken to Bhata Durian for identification of a terrorist hideout during the ongoing joint search operation in which four soldiers were killed.

During the search operation when the team approached the hideout, terrorists opened fire on the joint team of police and army personnel injuring 2 policemen and an army jawan. Mustafa also sustained injuries and he could not be extracted from the site due to heavy fire, according to the J&K Police.
The counter-terrorism operation in Poonch-Rajouri forest belt of J&K has been on for almost 2 weeks.
