22-year-old Archie Singh has made India proud by becoming the first Indian to bag the title of '2nd Runner Up' at the Miss International Trans beauty pageant held in Colombia recently.

Archie's journey hasn't been an easy one. She's often been turned away by modelling agencies for 'not being a real woman'.

She began her modelling career at the age of 17, when she came out as a trans woman, tired of hiding her true identity. Along with modelling, Archie has also been working on raising awareness about trans realities and breaking the stigma attached with trans communities.
