Apple has agreed to pay $9.75 million to settle a class-action lawsuit over a design flaw plaguing the Powerbeats 2 headphones. The California-based tech giant was accused of falsely advertising the earbuds that would stop working and fail to retain charge after "minimal usage." Apple didn't admit that there was indeed an issue with the 2014 Powerbeats 2 but it said it's easier and cheaper to settle without having to go to court.
