Apple has issued revised App Store review guidelines that pave the way for game streaming services such as Google Stadia and Microsoft’s xCloud to run on iOS devices. However, companies need to create a catalog app on the App Store from where users can directly download each game individually. The changes arrive at a time when Apple is locked in a legal fight with Fortnite developer Epic Games over the 30 per cent cut it takes from in-app payments.
