Apple has launched the fourth generation of the iPad Air series, and it look very similar to the iPad Pro. It has a big 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with 2360x1640 resolution and comes with much thinner bezels, True Tone support and anti-reflective coating.
Apple has moved the Touch ID fingerprint sensor into the new, top-mounted power button. The new iPad Air is powered by Apple's new A14 Bionic chipset, which is built on an industry-first 5nm process. It has a 6-core CPU design that promises 40 per cent performance improvement over the last iPad Air and a 30 per cent faster graphics with a new four-core GPU.
It also borrows the 12-megapixel rear camera from the iPad Pro and upgrades it with improved video stabilisation. It’s also got a 7-megapixel selfie camera, a USB-C port as well as Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard support.
Apple iPad Air starts at ₹54,900 for the 64GB storage Wi-Fi model and ₹66,900 for the cellular model. Indian availability hasn’t been announced yet.
